GSMK CryptoPhones are the only secure mobile phones on the market with full source code published for independent security assessments – no `proprietary ́ or `secret ́ encryption, no backdoors,
no key-escrow, no centralized or operator-owned key generation, no key registration.

Interoperability
Fully compatible with all GSMK CryptoPhone
devices. Incoming secure calls on a CryptoPhone 200 T in Thuraya mode may be dependant on current Thuraya network status and local operator gateway agreements with Thuraya. Outgoing secure calls from Thuraya to other networks always work regardless of these factors.

The CryptoPhone 200T was introduced at the CeBIT IT fair in March 2004 and was the first secure GSM and Thuraya satellite communications product on the global market. It was later replaced by the universal CryptoPhone T2 satellite option for all mobile GSMK CryptoPhones.
